This annual event is a must for all to see. It is growing all the time and puts a spotlight on Hartley and its heritage.
It is a day for the whole family. You might bump into some 19th-century characters. There’ll be live music, pre-school activities, dance presentations, pony rides and a reptile show. Kids can also choose from face painting, hot rods, laser tag and trike (motorbike) rides. For admirers of 19th-century fashion, Gallery Serpentine are hosting a steampunk wedding dress show at the historic St Bernard’s Church. Wander through various handcrafted produce and artisan stalls. There’ll be a motorbike show and a special performance by the Lithgow Highland Band. Roam a variety of food and coffee outlets or bring a picnic to enjoy with family and friends. Also, this year marks the 50 year anniversary of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service – a remarkable achievement. So come along. HDPA is a proud participant at this event and this year, you’ll see us next to the Rural Fire Service display.
Entry is AUD5 per car and all monies raised will be donated to the Lithgow Highland Band.
